As of January 2026, one time equipment costs for the total station package and Botmark E-Ruler are approximately $40,000 for brand new equipment. You will pay for processing on a per plan basis based on the number of points and project type. For equipment purchases, contact Botmark directly at www.botmark.com
There is no subscription fee! You only pay for the plans you send to us for processing.
This depends on a variety of factors. Plan type, plan density, and repeat floors. Typically we tell customers a conservative estimate for a panel processing fee is 5 cents/square foot and for a stick frame processing fee, about 7 cents/square foot.
On repeat floors, you will only pay the processing fee for the initial floor. For example, if 2nd-5th floors are identical, you will only pay for 2nd floor.
On repeat buildings, after the first building, you will only pay for the best fit time, which is typically less than $100.
If there are small changes between otherwise identical floors, we charge an hourly rate for manual changes. Our rule of thumb is we will only process if it is quicker than making the changes manually. Our goal is to always be efficient while keeping customer cost in mind.
Not a problem! Send us only the walls you want points for.
We have customers who use grid lines, but we always recommend surveying them so we can best fit to your grid lines. A first floor best fit is always included with the standard point fee for no additional cost.
We are able to create layout files for panel plans, stick frame, hold downs, structural steel, plumbing, and foundation plans. If it can be put on a plan, we can create a layout file for it.
It’s helpful but not required. Even team members with no prior construction experience have been able to lay out 25,000 square feet per day once they’re familiar with the system.
